OCFP’s Proposal’s for Ontario Budget 2023
On February 7, 2023 the OCFP submitted a letter to the Minister of Finance outlining the OCFP’s four key policy focuses for consideration in Budget 2023.
The OCFP is committed to serving as an honest broker on behalf of our members, representing family physicians at provincial and regional tables - where we can reinforce the importance of the family physician role in the provision of primary health care. As the professional home for Ontario's 15,000+ family physicians, the OCFP supports and advocates for the role of the family physician as the foundation of an effective health system. Through the course of this work, the OCFP will provide statements, participate in discussions and issue reports.
