Looking for OntarioMD (OMD) Paxlovid tools?

 

OntarioMD (OMD) collaborated with Ontario Health, the eHealth Centre of Excellence (eCE), the Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP), the Centre for Effective Practice, and EMR vendors to consolidate information and tools for physicians about prescribing Paxlovid. Each step of the four step process includes links to useful resources to:
• Identify high risk patients who may benefit from Paxlovid using COVaxON Aggregate Primary Care Vaccination Reports or EMR searches (for Accuro®, OSCAR, and PS Suite)
• Communicate with patients with an adaptable script and a patient handout
• Complete a general Paxlovid prescription form or a form embedded in the EMR, and check for drug interactions
