How can this program help you improve the way you care for your patients?

This workshop provides you with current guidelines, best-evidence recommendations, and practical strategies for caring for children and youth. Dr. Anita Greig, primary author of the Greig Health Record, developed the program, and she continues to act as a leading facilitator. The highly interactive program focuses on sharing your challenging cases and finding approaches that you can effectively apply in your clinic.

Workshop Modules

Module 1: Putting prevention into practice for school age children

Module 2: Implementing best evidence and practical solutions for adolescent health challenges

How could you benefit from this program?

After the workshop, a participant said they would use what they learned to improve the delivery of evidence-based preventative care and age-appropriate counselling to their school-aged clients.

"I would feel more comfortable raising topics like sleep hygiene, nutrition, and physical activities more in details as part of periodic health examination and knowing which website to use for further information or reference.” - Workshop Participant

How does this program impact patient care?

“Will use the associated tool to provide better guidance for children and adolescents needing help with nutrition, activity, substance use and sexual health.” - Workshop Participant
“I reviewed the screen time recommendations along with sleep and physical activity with several school-aged children. This is a frequent issue for parents, and we discussed strategies (including the children) to shift and rebalance the hours spent to less screen time, more sleep and more physical activity.” - Workshop Participant
