Leadership in Primary Care Network

About this Network:

Family physician leadership is critical to successful transformation of the health system. Our Leadership in Primary Care Network helps Ontario family physicians to lead change within their professional setting.

Mentoring in this Network is a structured six-month offering, designed to build competence and confidence to lead change from within primary care.

This network is supported by a number of experienced family physician leaders.

How it works:

  • Mentees are matched with mentors who are seasoned physician leaders
  • Mentors and mentees together decide when and how they will meet and interact
  • Mentees get timely one-on-one support, focused education opportunities and ongoing engagement through an online community of practice
  • There is no cost to join
  • The unique format offers valuable opportunities for development and participants may earn up to 15 Mainpro+ credits in this certified program
