Podcast Excerpt:

Three Minute Breathing Exercise

This three-minute breathing exercise is lead by Dr. Alison Kelford, a family physician certified in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. It's an excerpt from a longer conversation with Dr. Kelford as part of the OCFP's podcast series, Family Docs: The Early Years, episode 2.

Family Docs: The Early Years Podcast

A podcast series sharing insights on work-life balance, transitioning to practice, and more

“Where do I turn for guidance”, “how can I continue to hone my clinical, teaching, advocacy and leadership skills” … these are just some of the questions and challenges you may face in the early years of your practice. For members building their career in family medicine, the OCFP has created Family Docs: The Early Years – a four-part podcast series to support you in achieving your personal and professional goals.

This podcast was prepared by the Early Years in Practice Committee in 2018. Since 2019 this Committee has been integrated into the new Mentoring Program for Mental Health, Addictions and Chronic Pain and is no longer a stand alone committee. This podcast was recorded prior to this change.
