OCFP, CFPC and SRPC Respond to the CPSO's Guidance for Emergency Medicine in Rural Practice

In April 2018, the OCFP and CFPC published a Letter to Members about the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) document: Expectations of Physicians Not Certified in Emergency Medicine Intending to Include Emergency Medicine As Part of Their Rural Practice - Changing Scope of Practice Process.

On June 6, the OCFP, CPFC and the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada (SRPC) issued a formal response to the CPSO's guidelines. Read our three-point statement here:
