Crisis Support (24/7)

  • Gerstein Crisis Centre (Toronto: 416-929-5200) – For adults 16 and older dealing with mental health and/or substance use issues 
  • Hope for Wellness Helpline (Indigenous helpline: 1-855-242-3310) – Mental health counselling and crisis intervention to all Indigenous peoples
  • Good2Talk: 1-866-925-5454 – Helpline for Ontario postsecondary students
  • Assaulted Women`s Helpline: 1-866-863-0511 – Support for women in Toronto who have experienced any form of abuse

Free One-On-One Counselling

  • AbilitiCBT - Includes a program to help address anxiety symptoms related to pandemics
  • BounceBack – Free, guided self-help program for people aged 15 and older who are experiencing mild-to-moderate anxiety or depression
  • Wellness Together Canada: Mental Health and Substance Use Support - choose resources to motivate and support your wellness journey
  • CBTi App - for patients engaged in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia with a health practitioners

Peer-to-Peer Supports

  • Talk4healing:  1-855-554-HEAL (4325) – Culturally grounded, fully confidential helpline for Indigenous women
  • Ontario Caregiver Helpline: 1-833-416-2273 – Information and support for caregivers in Ontario
  • LGBTQ Youthline: Text 647-694-4275 – Peer support for queer, trans, two-spirit youth (29 years and under) in Ontario

  • One-On-One Support For Physicians:
    • Ontario Medical Association (OMA) – 24 7 Confidential 1:1 support, including weekly chat sessions and wellness resources for physicians, residents and medical students and supportive services for their families as part of the Physician Health Program: confidential line 1-800-851-6606 or email [email protected]
